Lifting social media gag a welcome measure: Kadfeen
Demands restoration of high speed internet services in JK
Srinagar(PTK): Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Thursday welcomed the government decision of lifting curbs on social media in Jammu and Kashmir, terming such a measure a long pending demand of the people.
In a statement issued here, Kadfeen said that there are plethora of companies operational in Jammu and Kashmir who have their marketing strategies dependent on Internet in entirety and the decision to lift the gag has come as a greater solace for these perturbed entrepreneurs.
The Congress leader has hoped that such a decision will help the struggling economy of Jammu and Kashmir to get reviewed and help the young business men to avail maximum possible benefits.
Underscoring how internet has become an integral part of the modern society, Kadfeen said the putting curbs for a prolonged period on such a vital facility wouldn’t have helped those at the helm in anyway.
The Congress leader has hailed the decision and has expressed hope that high speed internet services too will be restored at an earliest.(PTK)
