ATM defunct at Achabal, Tourists and locals suffer

Achabal, 03 Mar (PTK): Tourists and locals had to suffer immense inconvenience due to non-functioning of an ATM of JK Bank at tourist hub Achabal from past week days.

According to PTK , a civil society member from the area said the ATM developed technical snag few days ago. “ATM in the town are either out of order or lack cash leaving customers high and dry.” he said.

The ATM of Jammu and Kashmir Bank is on a vital place on the Achabal town. “It has a great importance even for the tourists,” the locals said, adding that however most of the times the machines remains out of order, said another local.

The people have appealed higher authorities of J&K Bank to look into the matter on urgent basis. Despite repeated attempts, bank offcials could not be contacted for their comments.(PTK)
