854 central laws will be effective in Kashmir

 

The Minister of State for the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the residents of Jammu and Kashmir will get every facility like other states of the country. All 854 central laws will be made effective in the state. Dr. Singh has said that all the States / UTs should comply with the Department of Personal Transparency in Transfers.

He was addressing a meeting of administrative officials in Delhi on Friday During this, he also referred to the steps being taken towards making better arrangements in other parts of the country including Jammu and Kashmir.

While talking, Dr. Singh made it clear that Jammu and Kashmir will get the same facilities that other countrymen are getting.

No special concessions are being given to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They will now get the full benefit of the welfare schemes of the Center, central laws. The central government is serious about making all central laws effective in Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir had only 200 laws before these.

Dr. Singh has said that it is our best effort to compensate for the discrimination and injustice that has happened to the people of Jammu Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the residents of Jammu and Kashmir will get every facility like other states of the country. After the removal of Article 370, the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have high hopes from the Modi government. Serious action is being taken to meet these expectations.

Jammu and Kashmir government is making land bank for industries The state government is busy preparing the ground for rapid economic development in the new Jammu and Kashmir. Land banks are being created to attract industries so that they can be provided land at reasonable rates. The state administration has started creating a data bank of the land. So far, about 18 thousand kanals of land have been identified in the state. Deputy commissioners of all districts are working on it.

After the removal of Article 370, several large groups had announced investment in Jammu and Kashmir. In four months, 35 to 40 groups have submitted their projects to the administration. The biggest challenge in these investments is to provide adequate land. All these projects were still pending due to the state government not having its own land bank.

Places seen in Jammu and Kashmir too The administration has at present identified about 18 thousand kanals of land. Of this, ten thousand kanals of land are in Jammu and Samba districts of Jammu division. Apart from this, places have also been marked in Ganderbal and Kupwara. Confirming this, Ravindra Kumar, managing director of the State Industrial Development Corporation, said that the administration has already made it clear that they have enough space. In Jammu and Kashmir, most interest is being shown in apple industry, dry fruits, saffron, hotels and tourism sector. The Lemon Tree Group also showed interest in building the hotel. Apart from this, many other groups are also showing interest in building hotels.

Due to Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, no outsider could buy land here. Only people with state subjects could buy land here. Due to this, the state lagged behind in development.
