Altaf Thakur concerned over loss cause to property crops in Tral due to gusty winds

Srinagar, July 15 (PTK): Expressing serious concern over the damage caused by the gusty winds in many parts of Tral area of Pulwama, Bhartiya Janata Party State spokesman Altaf Thakur said that the district administration should asses the damage of property and crops in the area on fast track basis so that those affected are compensated without delay.

Thakur also urged the authorities to cut the unnecessary and rotten branches of old chinar tree a in the area as they pose a big risk to life and property.

Thakur said as per the reports he received from the people of various areas of Tral including Dadsara, Govt School Dadsara, three storey house, a few shops, many vehicles and 250 KV transformer got damaged after chinar branches fell om them during strong winds.

He urged the district administration to conduct the loss assessment in the area on fast-track basis so that affected get due compensation. Thakur also took up the issue with the concerned deputy commissioner Pulwama who assured him of all the possible help to those affected.
