Hameed Lelhari becomes head of Al-Qaeda affiliated group Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind
Srinagar: After the death Zakir Musa in an encounter with security forces in South Kashmir Tral area of Pulwama district, Al-Qaeda-affiliated group Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind has appointed Hameed Lelhari as its now head.
According to , Hameed Lelhari as appointed as the head after the death of its chief Zakir Musa. Lalhari was the deputy commander of Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind when Musa ran the affairs of the militant group in the Kashmir valley.
As per the report, Lahiri is one of the 10 initial members of Musa’s team, which has been nearly decimated by the security forces. Musa’s Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind had almost 10 members, eight of whom are now dead with only Lalhari and one other militant remaining. (PTK)
