Man shot at in Begusarai for his ‘Muslim name’
SRINAGAR: A video of the injured youth speaking about the incident has gone viral on social media The Hindu reported.
A youth Mohd. Qasim was shot at in Begusarai district on Sunday morning allegedly after he was asked his name.
An FIR has been lodged at the local Cheria-Bariarpur police station of the district but the accused has not been arrested yet, said the police.
A video of the injured youth speaking about the incident has gone viral on social media.
Mr. Qasim, son of Aghanu Mia of Khanjahanpur Panchayat of ward no. 11, was shot at in Kumbhi village under Cheria-Bariyarpur police station on Sunday morning allegedly by Rajiv Yadav of the village.
