PDP Worker injured in militant attack succumbed at SKIMS

Kulgam, May 20: A PDP worker who was critically injured after being shot at in Kulgam last evening succumbed to his injuries in hospital here.

Mohammad Jamaal, who was associated with the Peoples Democratic Party, succumbed at around O9:30 am at SKIMS hospital in Srinagar, an official told PTK.

Reports said Jamaal was shot at by masked gunmen last evening at Zungalpora village of Devsar Kulgam following which he was shifted to a local hospital.

Majeed was polling agent during Parliamentary elections in South Kashmir. Police official told News Agency Press Trust of Kashmir that he was killed by militants.
