BJP greets people on Shab-e-Barat

SRINAGAR, April 20: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Gen. Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul, felicitated the people on the occasion of Shab-e-Baraat, the night of fortune and forgiveness.

In a message of greetings, leaders hoped that this auspicious occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood and be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.

They also prayed for the peace and prosperity of the state. “This holy night provides us an opportunity to pray for Almighty’s blessings and strive for being compassionate, pious and dutiful,” they said in a greeting message to the Muslim brethren.
