PDP worker injured critically after shot at in Kulgam village

Kulgam: April 03: A PDP worker was injured after shot at by suspected militants at Shalipora village in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.

Officials told PTK that unknown gunmen believed to be militants barged inside the house of Abdul Majeed Dar son-in-law of Ghulam Ahmad Malla and fired upon him.

He has received one fire shot injury in his abdomen, Muzaffar was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors referred him to SMHS Srinagar hospital in critical conditions.

Soon after the incident a joint team of army and Police SOG launched a cordon-and-search operation in the area to nab the assailants.

Meanwhile, Police has registered a case in this regard and initiated further investigation
