Night long snowfall create havoc in upper reaches of Tral

SRINAGAR, (PTK): Ultimate and night long snowfall crippled the normal life in the entire region of Tra. In upper reaches of Tral the snowfall caused extensive damage to residential houses, Roads are yet to be cleared and power supply is yet to be restored in higher reaches of Tral.

Meanwhile due to heavy snowfall and blocking of roads no vehicular movement was seen on roads since from last 36 hours. People from this region especially patients are facing severe problems due to blocking of roads.

Meanwhile reports from Dar Ganie Gund village of Tral came , where a branch of Chinar tree fell upon the Ziyarat Sharif Noor-UD-din Lagmaan, caused  a light damage to the gabble and ridge of the Zyarat Sharif.

People from the village said over phone that they didn’t even blink their eyes as they were in fear about their safety.

As the roads were cleared during night hours, but due to continuous snowfall, this act didn’t benefit the people as the roads are blocked now again. (PTK)
