JKPL Condemns raid on residence of Mukhtar Waza’s Sisters residence and arrest of its nephew

SRINAGAR, (PTK): The Police and Security Forces on Thursday Late night carried out raid on the residence of Senior APHC Leader Mukhtar Ahmad Waza’s Late Sisters residence in Seer Hamdan area of Islamabad, during which the family Members were harassed including small children’s and also  security forces arrested Mukhtar Waza’s nephew namely  Zulfkar Ahmad Mir and later lodged him in police station Mattan.

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League has strongly condemned this move of security forces.

PL spokesperson in a statement issued to press described it as “dictatorial and unethical. He said that, New Delhi has virtually started “a war against the common Kashmiris”.

Security forces have intensified the search operations and are harassing the family members of pro-freedom leaders and activists,” the Spokesperson alleged.
