J&K Police Pays Tribute to Martyrs in Awantipora During Police Flag Day Week; Visits Martyr Families and Displays Their Portraits in Schools.

Awantipora,October 28(PTK): As part of the ongoing celebrations of Police Flag Day Week, Police in Awantipora organised a series of programmes to honour the supreme sacrifices of police martyrs and pay tribute to their bravery and dedication.

Police officers visited the native villages and towns of police martyrs in Sub-Division Pampore and interacted with their families to express solidarity and enquire about their wellbeing. During the interactions, the officers patiently listened to their grievances and assured them of all possible assistance and timely redressal of their genuine concerns.

As a mark of respect and remembrance, portraits of the martyrs were displayed in the respective primary schools where they had received their early education. Floral tributes were also paid to the martyrs, while their bravery, dedication and supreme sacrifices were highlighted among students and members of the local community.

The initiative aimed to preserve the memory of the brave martyrs, inspire young minds and reinforce the enduring bond between the police and the public.(PTK)
