Haji Mubarak Gul appointed National Conference General Secretary.

Srinagar, 27 Oct(PTK): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Tuesday appointed senior party leader and MLA Idgah Haji Mubarak Gul as the General Secretary of the party. In this regard, party President Dr Farooq Abdullah issued an order appointing Haji Mubarak Gul to the post in place of senior party leader and MLA Khanyar, Ali Mohammad Sagar, who was inducted into the Cabinet today.
Haji Mubarak Gul formally assumed charge of his new position today in the presence of party President Dr Farooq Abdullah, former General Secretary Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar, Advisor to HCM Nasir Aslam Wani, MP Shammi Oberoi, Provincial President Showkat Mir, Hon’ble Ministers Surinder Choudhary, Sakina Masood Itoo, Javed Dar, MLAs’, State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar and other party leaders.
A felicitation function was organised at the party headquarters on the occasion, which was presided over by party President Dr Farooq Abdullah. 
The party functionaries congratulated Haji Mubarak Gul on his new responsibilities and expressed hope that he would work towards further strengthening the party while maintaining close coordination with party workers and office-bearers and discharging his responsibilities efficiently and effectively.(PTK)
