Police organises cybercrime awareness programme at Tral

November 05(PTK): Police in Awantipora have organised a Cyber Awareness Programme at Alif Academy Tral, chaired by SHO Police Station Tral. Teachers and students attended the event aimed at spreading awareness about cyber frauds and safe online practices.

The officer advised participants to adopt secure browsing habits, avoid sharing OTPs or bank details, and stay alert during online transactions. Attendees were also cautioned against interacting with unknown persons on social media.

Participants appreciated the efforts of J&K Police for conducting such informative programmes on cyber safety.(PTK)
