DC Poonch chairs District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee meeting to review SRO-43 cases

POONCH, JULY 08(PTK): A meeting of the District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, in his office chamber to review and decide on claims submitted under SRO-43.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Mohd Sayeed, and officers from the CID and security agencies.

During the meeting, ADC Poonch provided a detailed briefing to the Chair regarding the current status of each case. After a comprehensive discussion and evaluation, the committee approved several eligible cases under SRO-43.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal emphasized the need for timely disposal of SRO-43 cases, noting that it plays a crucial role in reinforcing the trust of the affected families in the government machinery.

The DC also directed the concerned departments to maintain a proactive approach and ensure that all necessary formalities and verifications are completed well in time for SRO-43 cases. (PTK)
