Apni Party continues its campaign for tourism revival

Srinagar, June 21(PTK): Continuing its vibrant campaign to boost tourism revival efforts in the Valley, Apni Party on Saturday sent a delegation of senior leaders to the renowned Mughal Garden in Achabal, South Kashmir.

 

The team was led by the party’s senior leader and Additional General Secretary, Hilal Ahmad Shah. The party leaders welcomed visitors at the renowned tourist spot and expressed appreciation for their visit. They also interacted with local business owners and tourism stakeholders, assuring them that Apni Party stands in unwavering solidarity with them during these challenging times.

 

Responding to the questions from local reporters, Hilal Ahmad Shah said that Apni Party’s ongoing tourism revival campaign aims to convey a clear message to people across the country that the Valley is safe and welcoming for visitors.

 

He said, “We are visiting tourist destinations to send a strong message to our fellow citizens across the country that Kashmir is a safe and secure place to explore, and that every Kashmiri is committed to warmly welcoming visitors and making their stay both memorable and safe.”

 

He said that “the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam has shaken us all to the core. Every Kashmiri is grieving and mourning the loss of innocent lives. We must defeat the perpetrators of this heinous crime by refusing to bow before them. The revival of tourism activities is imperative to counter these terrorists and their handlers.”

 

He urged the government to step forward and extend support to tourism stakeholders who have suffered significant losses and are facing a difficult situation as a result.

 

Besides Hilal Ahmad Shah, the prominent leaders who were part of the delegation included Choudhary Hamid, Manzoor Ahmad, Gowher Rather, Salman Infas, Arhan Farooq , Asarar, and others. (PTK)
