DSEK Conducts One-Day Orientation Programme for Newly Elevated Principals and Cluster Heads

 

Srinagar, February 12 (PTK) : The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) successfully conducted a one-day orientation programme for newly elevated Principals and Cluster Heads at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Kothibagh. The programme aimed to equip school leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to enhance educational administration and leadership.

The event was attended by all senior officers from the School Education Department (SED), Kashmir, who shared their insights on effective school management, academic planning, and administrative responsibilities. The orientation covered key topics such as leadership in education, policy implementation, and strategies for improving learning outcomes.

During the session, experts emphasized the importance of collaborative leadership, innovative teaching methodologies, and the role of technology in modern education. The initiative reflects DSEK’s commitment to strengthening the education system by empowering school heads with the right tools and guidance.

The newly appointed Principals and Cluster Heads expressed their gratitude for the opportunity, stating that the programme provided them with valuable perspectives on their new roles.
