Javed Ahmed Dar Extends Greetings on International Labour Day, Reaffirms Commitment to Workers’ Welfare

May 1, 2025(PTK): -On the occasion of International Labour Day, Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Javed Ahmed Dar, extended warm greetings to the working class, acknowledging their vital role in nation-building.

In a statement issued today, the Minister paid rich tribute to the dedication and resilience of workers across various sectors, calling them the “strongest pillars of nation building.” He emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the social security, rights, and welfare of the working class.

“I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes on International Labour Day to my working brothers and sisters who continue to contribute tirelessly to the progress of our nation,” Dar said.

Highlighting a series of initiatives aimed at supporting the labour force, the Minister stressed the importance of fair wages, improved working conditions, and a secure and dignified environment for workers. He assured that the government would take all necessary measures to protect workers’ rights and improve their overall quality of life.

Javed Dar also underlined the need to foster a work culture that promotes productivity, job satisfaction, and social well-being, reaffirming the government’s resolve to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace ecosystem.
