Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar, 25 Feb(PTK): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, along with Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri celebrated as Herath by Kashmiri Pandits.

 

 

 

In his message, Dr. Farooq Abdullah expressed hope that the festival would be celebrated in the true spirit of Jammu and Kashmir’s composite culture, strengthening the bonds of amity and brotherhood between various communities.

 

 

 

Felicitating the people, CM Omar Abdullah emphasized that this auspicious day carries with it a rich cultural heritage. He expressed hope that the traditions of brotherhood and amity demonstrated by the people on this day throughout the centuries will continue to inspire future generations and contribute to building of a harmonious society.
