Bandipora, 11 Sept: In a significant operation, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested three individuals, including a woman, after uncovering a sex racket in Bandipora district, North Kashmir. The police rescued two minor girls during the raid.

The raid, conducted by officers from the Police Post Ajas, took place at a house in Saderkoot Bala following a tip-off from a reliable source.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a resident of Saderkoot Bala was involved in the trafficking and exploitation of the minors. A case has been registered under FIR No. 161/2024, under sections 3, 4, 5, and 7 of the Immoral Trafficking Act.
Authorities stated that further investigation is ongoing.
