Kupwara, September : The Indian Army, in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, conducted a joint operation today in the Keran sector of Kupwara, following specific intelligence inputs.
According to sources from the Press Trust of Kashmir, extensive searches in the identified area resulted in the recovery of a large cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives. Among the seized items were AK-47 rounds, hand grenades, RPG rounds, material for Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), and other war-like stores.
The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army confirmed the recovery, describing it as a crucial step in thwarting potential terror activities in the region. The security forces continue their efforts to maintain peace and stability in the area.
