Sopore, September 1: In a late-night incident, burglars targeted an electric transformer in the Tarzoo area of Sopore, situated in the Baramulla district of North Kashmir. The theft occurred sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
According to sources from the Press Trust of Kashmir, the burglars managed to dismantle the transformer and made away with valuable internal components. The exact details and value of the stolen items have not yet been ascertained.
The local police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter. Further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
