Ganderbal, August 29: Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, speaking at a workers’ convention in Ganderbal, urged the people to give him another opportunity to serve them, stressing the challenges of the upcoming elections.
Addressing the ongoing legal matters, Omar Abdullah expressed doubts about the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) arguments being heard in court regarding Engineer Rashid’s bail case on September 4. “As per my information, the court may not accept the NIA’s arguments,” he remarked.
He also touched upon the Enforcement Directorate (ED) case involving his father, Farooq Abdullah, stating that the ED’s attempts to pursue the case were dismissed by the court, which provided justice by removing the case against Farooq Abdullah.
