The Home Department has referred a staggering 4022 vacancies of the J&K Police to the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) for the recruitment process.

1. Armed / IRP: 1689 positions
2. Constable SDRF: 100 positions
3. Constable (Telecom): 502 positions
4. Constable (Driver): 20 positions

6. Constable Executive Police in the divisional cadre: 1689 positions, with 1249 earmarked for Jammu and 440 for Kashmir.
