Rain/snow at scattered places likely in J&K:- MeT
Srinagar:- Rain and snow lashed J&K during the last 24 hours as Srinagar received the season’s first snowfall on Friday.
Kupwara district in Northern Kashmir and famous tourist destinations Gulmarg and Pahalgam also received snowfall.
“Scattered rain/snow at isolated places is likely to occur during the next 24 hours in J&K,” an official of the Meteorological Department said.
He said Srinagar recorded minus 0.3 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam minus 4.9 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg minus 5.5 degrees Celsius as the minimal temperature.
