PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KULGAM SEP 27:- Two local militants affiliated with JeM are trapped in an encounter in Ahwatoo Kulgam.
ADGP Kashmir said that both local militants trapped in Ahwatoo are involved in several militant crime cases.
“Two local Militants of proscribed #militant outfit JeM trapped in the ongoing #encounter. Both the trapped militants are involved in several militant crime cases.” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted while quoting ADGP Kashmir

Earlier an official said that a joint team of RR, Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
He said that as the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
