50 trucks being engaged for transportation facilities in favour of migratory tribal families

No foot movement allowed in Ramban

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR SEP 24:– Migratory tribal families to note that no foot movement will be allowed on NH-44. Livestock will be transported from Nowgam, Banihal Tunnel Top in RTC vehicles.

Govt has authorized nodalofficer for engagement of 50 (Fifty) number of trucks for transportation facilities in favour of migratory tribal families on return migration from Highland Pastures (Dhoks)- nomination of Nodal Officers.

“On the above-captioned subject and reference, Sh. Zahir Abbas (9596996193), JKAS, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Banihal, is hereby appointed as Nodal Officer to deal with the plan of migration of migratory tribal families on retum migration from Highand Pastures (Dhoks) in District Ramban.” Reads an order.

“The Nodal Officer shall be assisted by Sh. Samrinder Singh (9596978888), ARTO Ramban and Sh. Rajesh (7006114947) Manager, RTC, Ramban in smooth transportation of migratory tribal families.” It adds.

“Further, it is hereby ordered that there shall be no foot movement of nomadic livestocks on National Highway-44 within the jurisdiction of District Ramban.” It add further.

” The cell numbers of ARTO Ramban and Manager RTC, Ramban are hereby designated as Helpline Numbers for information of the public and grievance redressal.” It adds.
