DC Kathua reviews progress of projects being executed by PMGSY, JKPCC and PWD (R&B)  

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 22: Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rahul Pandey today chaired a meeting to review the progress of projects being executed  by PMGSY, JKPCC and PWD (R&B) departments here at DC office Complex.

During the meeting, the DC reviewed the progress of works taken up under different schemes and directed the concerned to expedite the completion of pending schemes within set timelines.

While reviewing the works taken by the executing agencies, the DC directed the officers to process the forest clearance for the projects on priority to facilitate completion in a time bound manner. He directed the XENs to pace up work to remove bottlenecks, if any, to complete the projects in a time bound manner.

The DC impressed upon the concerned officer to execute utility shifting work and also laid thrust on ensuring early tendering and allotment of all identified works.

Regarding the pending works, the DC called upon the concerned officers to fix responsibility of the contractor to avoid unnecessary delays on their part.

The meeting was attended by CPO, DFO, Engineers of PWD Div Kathua, Basohli, CEO, XEN PMGSY Div Billawar, Kathua and other district officers.
