Authorities shut OT, bans surgeries at Ramzana hospital after alleged medical negligence

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAE SEP 12:- Authorities in Srinagar have sealed the operation theatre besides that directions have been given not to carry any surgical procedures at Ramzana hospital till the probe of two alleged medical negligence will be completed.
An official said that taking notice of the allegations of the family members of the lady who died due to medical negligence , the OT at the hospital has been seized and hospital authorities have been directed to suspend all surgery procedures till probe will be completed.

He said that CMO Srinagar has formed a panel as well to probe the matter and ascertain the facts of the allegations which has been levelled against the doctors.
He said that concerned committee has been to file report within seven days and strict action will be followed if allegations found true.
Pertinently in last two to three weeks two cases of alleged medical negligence were reported at the Ramzana hospital Srinagar.
