DC Kulgam visits D. K. Marg, lays foundation stone of BDO Office
Listens to issues and grievances of people, redresses scores of issues on spot
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 10: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal-Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today visited far-off area D. K. Marg area of the district and laid foundation stone of Block Development Office (BDO) for D.K.Marg block.
It was informed that the BDO Office will come up with an estimated cost of Rs. 33 lac and the executing agency for this work project is Rural Development Department.
Present on the occasion were ACD, Mohammad Imran Khan; SDM-Noorabad, Bashir Ul Hassan; ACR, Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz; Executive Engineer REW, Kaisar Amin and other officers.
The DC instructed the officers of the executing agency to work in double shifts on the work project to ensure completion of this BDO Office building before December 2022.

Later, the DC presided over a grievances redressal camp which was attended by people from D.K.Marg, Nagam, Boh, Ringeth, Chimer, Bahadijahalan, Gulzarabad and other areas.
People from all these areas apprised the DC about their issues and grievances besides the developmental requirements of their areas.
PRI members also participated in the camp and flagged-off issues and put forth their demands.
All the issues and grievances were listened to patiently by the DC and scores of the issues were redressed on spot.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC complimented the PRI members for their proactive role and efforts for development and progress of their areas.
The DC also added that Administration is focused to make the villages clean.
People were also urged to be proactive regarding war against drugs to eliminate the menace from the district.
