2014 flood victims from Chattabal stage protest , demand implementation of court orders

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR SEP 07:- The residents of Chattabal area of Srinagar on Wednesday staged a protest in Srinagar and demanded implementation of court orders.
They while staging a peaceful protest at press enclave Srinagar said that they were victims of 2014 floods and after they have received part of the compensation, however, part of compensation is still pending.
They added that in order to get the pending compensation they approached court and they have given decision in our favor.

We have already brought it in notice of concerned higher ups in this regard and have provided them all details as well, they said.
It all happened due to negligence of district administration and we want that it shouldn’t happen with anyone else, they said.
They demanded that court orders must be implemented on ground at an earliest so that victims won’t have to suffer more.
