Police arrests three burglars in Budgam, recovered stolen items.

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR SEP 04:- Budgam police on Sunday claimed to have arrested three burglars from whose possession stolen items were recovered.
Police said that on 29/08/2022 Police Station Khanshab received a complaint from one Farooq Ahmad Dar son of Gul Dar resident of Halipora Kokernag to the effect that they are working as contractors and are constructing a cafeteria at Tangnar. They had kept some wooden ballies and Ply sheets in the under construction structure and it was found that about 150 wooden ballies and 25 plywood sheets are missing and have been stolen by some thieves.
Upon this information a Case FIR No 150/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered at PS Khanshab and investigation taken up, they said.
During course of investigation, some suspects were brought for questioning and after strenuous efforts, zeroed in on two suspects namely Gulzar Ahmad Hajam son of Abdul Gani Hajam and Ab Hameed Hajam son of Lal Hajam residents of Raiyar Ich. Both the suspects were put to sustained questioning and they confessed that they have committed the crime and have kept some of the stolen property at Raiyar, they added.
On their disclosure, following stolen property was recovered , Wooden Ballies 37 Nos and zply Sheets= 04 Nos

Both the accused have been arrested in the instant case and more recoveries and arrests are expected and the investigation is under way, it adds.
In another breakthrough, today Police Station Khansahib arrested one burglar namely Mohammad Yousuf Sheikh son of Rehman Sheikh resident of Check Raithan During questioning he confessed his involvement in case FIR number 109/2022 U/S 457,380 IPC which stood registered earlier in Police Station Khansahib, statement added.
Golden Necklace, Golden Chains 02 numbers, Golden Pendulum 2 numbers, Golden Rings =5 numbers and Earring one pair was recovered from his possession.
Besides cash of rupees 40,000/= was also recovered from his possession. More arrests and recoveries are expected, they said.
