Extends his support to Azad

Press Trust Of kashmir Srinagar Aug 31:- Senior congress leader and former Minister on Wednesday resigned from congress and has extended his support to Azad.

“I resign from the primary membership of Indian National Congress & all the posts. I cherish my five decades with Indian National Congress. May i take this opportunity to thank the party, all it’s leaders, members & workers who have been part of my memorable journey.” Mohammad Sayeed said.

“I would like to thanks Madam Sonia Gandhi ji, for guidance & the opportunities she gave me. I value the enriching experience.” He said.

“I hope I have your good wishes as I begin a new chapter in my life of public service.” He added.

Meanwhile sources said that he is going to extend his support to Gh Nabi Azad who has recently resigned from Congress.
