CEO Poonch inspects schools in Mandi, Loran; Interacts with PRIs, students, staff
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR POONCH, AUGUST 25: Chief Education Officer Poonch, Bishamber Dass on Thursday inspected different educational institutions in Mandi and Loran areas.
He visited Government Higher Secondary School Loran, Government High School Palera, KGBV Loran, GMS Rajpura, GMS Barachad and over a dozen other Educational institutions and interacted with the PRI members, staff and students and took stock of the issues confronting the education system.
During his interactions with School staff and PRIs, he emphasized on the implementation of NEP-2020, centrally initiated schemes and installation of Biometric Aadhaar System of attendance.
The concerned were asked to take effective steps for imparting quality education to the children and grooming them into law abiding citizens.
The Teachers were impressed to work more dedicatedly for good results. ZEO, ZEPO Mandi and cluster heads were directed to conduct frequent inspections of the schools falling in their jurisdictions to monitor the functioning and attendance and submit reports to the CEO office.

The CEO inspected different sites in Loran to identify suitable land for the construction of the KGBV building. He also inspected KGBV Loran, which is presently functioning from Middle School Loran and interacted with the inmates and enquired about the facilities being provided to them.
The warden and the ZEO were asked to take remedial measures to improve the quality of education to make the KGBV a Model institution in the area.
During his visit, the CEO also resolved some issues on the spot raised by the Principal GHSS Loran, heads of schools and PRI Members .
