House damaged due to flash floods in Kangan
R&B responsible for damage:- Locals

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Aug 21:- A house was damaged due to flash floods in Chattergul Birindara in Chattergul Kangan area of Ganderbal on Sunday.
Locals said that R&B has constructed a road in the area but they failed to construct drain and R Wall along the road.

They said that due to flash floods whole water entered into residential houses in which one house belonging to Mohammad Aslam Khari son of Aqha Khari resident of Barindira Chattergul got damaged.
Had R&B department constructed drain and R wall there would have been no damage at all, they said.
They further added that where this family along with their livestock will go now.
They alleged that no political leaders or officer has visited the spot excluding Patwari and Sarpanch, despite awaring all about the incident.
They requested higher ups to look into the matter at an earliest so that family can get some compensation and heave a sigh of relief.
