DDC Chairman Rajouri listens to people’s issues at block Dhangri

Asks Officers, PRIs to work in coordination to take the district to new heights of development

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAJOURI, AUGUST 20: District Development Council Chairman, Chowdhary Naseem Liaqat, today visited Block Dhangri and listened to public issues there.

DDC member Dhangri, Rameshwar Singh, BDC chairman Dhangri, Sarpanch, Panchs and officers of different departments attended the meeting.

The DDC Chairman asked the PRIs and officers to put in dedicated efforts to provide prompt and hassle free services to the general public and also take effective measures to redress their genuine grievances in a time bound manner.

Stressing on the effective implementation of the welfare programmes, he directed the departments to publicize government initiatives and ensure that maximum people avail the benefits.

“The officers should personally visit all the works of their departments and regularly review the progress for their expeditious completion,” the Chairman said.

Meanwhile, the DDC Chairman also interacted with the public representatives, who highlighted a number of issues and demands of their areas and sought the immediate redressal of the same.

The DDC Chairman also advised the PRIs to ensure close monitoring of the developmental activities being carried out in their areas and make sure that quality is maintained while executing works on developmental projects.

He also advised the public representatives and officers to work in close coordination to take the district to new heights of development.
