Continuous vigi being maintained to curb anti national elements:- DGP
Says infiltration almost zero, recruitment very low, efforts on to make atmosphere more peaceful in J&K
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR Srinagar AUG 14:- Continuous vigil needs to being maintained to curb the activities of anti-national elements (ANEs) and criminals to ensure peaceful atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir.
This was stated by Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh while adding that peaceful atmosphere and security of the people is their prime concern and efforts are on to make atmosphere more peaceful in J&K.
He added that continuous vigil is being maintained and people support be ensured to curb the activities of anti-national elements and criminals.
He said that the credit of peaceful environment goes to people of J&K and there is need to work jointly to ensure more peaceful environment.

Border is tight and infiltration is almost zero this year, however, attempts were made but they were foiled, he said, adding that recruitment is low but there is need to work to make this recruitment more low.
He said that attempts are being made to sent ammunition through drones but that too is being foiled.
He, however, said that attempts are being made to radicalize more and more youth and they are tasked to throw grenades and other things on security forces so that once they will join ranks , they won’t return back but despite that some youth have surrendered during live encounter with efforts of security forces and they are living a peaceful life.
