Har Ghar Tiranga: Thousands participate in Mega Tiranga rally at Sports Stadium Kulgam

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KULGAM, AUGUST 11: As part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a grand celebration with a Tiranga rally was held today at Sports Stadium Kulgam.

The function was presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat along with SSP Kulgam Dr. G.V. Sandeep.

Thousands of youth and students participated in the event and the surroundings reverberated with patriotic songs.

Speaking at the event, the DC said that the idea behind ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

Meanwhile,   a series of activities like rallies, debates, quiz, painting competitions and cultural programmes are being organised throughout the district to promote the campaign.
