Hailstorm at isolated places, snowfall likely in higher reaches

Srinagar April 21(PTK) The Meteorological Department in J&K predicted for freaky weather conditions with occasion rains on Thursday in J&K.

Moreover there are chances of hailstorm at isolated places and snowfall in higher reaches, they said.

“Today, freaky weather, Cloudy with Occasional Rain, Thunderstorm with gusty winds.” said Sonam Lotus Director Meteorological department J&K.

“Hail storm at isolated places and Snowfall over higher reaches likely to continue till tomorrow (22nd)at most places of KMR & at scattered places of JMU(from afternoon onwards) due to which slight respite from hot weather is expected in JMU region.” He said.

“There’s No forecast of any major Rainfall.” He added. (PTK)
