Army organises Iftar Party in Ganderbal

Press Trust of Kashmir |Srinagar :  Continuing to work to strengthen bond between Awaam and Army, a iftar party was organised by army in Ganderbal.

An official said that as part of the ongoing celebrations during the holy month of Ramzan, Ganderbal RR under the aegis of Manasbal Sector, organised Iftaar for the Media persons of Ganderbal on the evening of 16 Apr 2022.

The event was hosted by Brigadier Atul Rajput, Commander, 3 Sector RR wherein around 35 Media persons from Ganderbal district attended which included Iftar Namaz and community feast followed by an interactive session during which issues pertaining to the day to day problems of the public were discussed. The Army reassured them of continued support in every sphere of their lives, he said.

The event served as a gleaming example of the secular foundation of the Army and proved to be a great platform to strengthen the already existing bond between the citizen and the Soldier, he added. :-PTK
