Four militant associates arrested in Bandipora

 

 

Bandipora, April 3(PTK) : Bandipora police busted two militant modules & arrested four militant helpers of militant outfit LeT, who were providing logistics & transportation to militants in the districts.

 

An official said that in one case , on a specific input security forces recovered one Chinese Grenade in Ashtango area of Bandipora along with militant associates identified as Irfan Ahmad Bhat resident of Ashtango, Sajad Ahmad Mir resident of Arin and Irfan Ahmad Jan resident of Qazipora Bandipora and other incriminating material was also recovered from their possession.

 

“During naka at Rakh Hajin , Security forces arrested one militant helpers namely Irfan Aziz Bhat resident of Hajin and recovered one chinese grenade from his possession.” He said.

 

“The said militant helpers was also in tounch with Pak based militant Umer Lala & killed militant Saleem Parray of Hajin.” He added.

 

“The Said militant helpers along with his pak based militant were planning to create militant incident in Hajin area .” He added.

 

“In both the Cases, Cognizance has been taken in Police station Bandipora & Hajin under relevant Section of Law & further investigation taken up.” He added.:-PTK.
