Flower sapling sale increases with onset of spring in J&k

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srrinagar: The sale of the flower saplings has increased in Jammu and Kashmir with the onset of spring season.
With the rise in the demand, the turnover of the flower business is estimated to be more than Rs 50 million.
this year weather supported floriculture therefore, Kashmiris should make full use of it.
“From 21st March our spring season is going to start. What we have seen is that if the plantation will be done before 21st March then its survival rate would be very good.
The increased demand for flowers has paved the way for expanding floriculture in the region.
The growers are importing plants from other parts of the country.
Flower growers are taking interest in growing flowers, as this is providing them both employment and profits.
A flower from Dargah Srinagar said that since 40 years he is associated with the flower business and everyone must plant these flowering plants so that our paradise on earth will become more beautiful.
Ghulam Mohammad from Dargah Hazratbal who has set his stall of flower saplings in kangan Ganderbal said that his ancestors were associated with this business.

We want to continue it and want to see everyone planting flowering plants everywhere so that our kashmir will become more beautiful.
Once anybody purchases flowers we get happy and the purchaser also gets happy because it is associated with beauty, he said:-PTK.
