Traffic resumes on Jammu-Srinagar national highway

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar :After closed briefly due to landslides ar Chamalwas area if Ramban, the vehicular traffic on Jammu-Srinagar Highway has been resumed, officials said

“Traffic movement has resumed at Rehampadi, Chamalwas, from both sides on the national highway” traffic official said.

Landslides were reported to have occurred in the Rehampadi Chamalwas area on the national highway.

The highway is the lifeline for the Kashmir valley and the main road link connecting Kashmir with the rest of the country.

Kashmir bound trucks laden with essential supplies and other vehicles pass through the highway.:-PTK.
