Athrout NGO distributes essential tools to Banihal Volunteers

Srinagar, 13 Jan (PTK) : The Athrot Volunteer Organization Jammu and Kashmir held an event in Banihal in which the Athrout volunteer organization distributed free essential equipment and tools to BANIHAL volunteers NGO, which will be used in rescue operations during road accidents and other emergencies.
As per the statement issued here to Press trust of Kashmir (PTK) The program was presided over by SDM Banihal Zaheer Abass ,Bashir Ahamd Nadvi chairman Athrout volunteers , NGO Social welfare association Banihal and others.
The statement added that the Banihal volunteers organization is a registered NGO and always working and carrying rescue operations during highway accidents and other disasters.
Athrout provides important
equipment to Banihal volunteers including oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs, boots, ropes, rope ladders, emergency lights, snow and wood cutters, life jackets, helmets, gloves and blankets to assist vulnerable passengers and road accident passengers in Banihal Ramban sector.
The role of Athrout and Banihal volunteers was appreciated by speakers on the occasion, the statement adds. (PTK).
