Post Heavy Snowfall: Army reacted quickly for Help, Saved Life Of Elderly Man In Shopian

 

Shopian, 10 Jan (PTK) : The Indian Army personnel continues to perform their duty honestly of serving the people under any circumstances as in the recently hostile weather conditions.

 

As per the reports, received by the Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) this is the second time in which the army soldiers of 15 Garhwal rifles, has ferried an 70 years old man from far flung area, Shadab Karewa of Shopian for medical treatment in heavy snowfall.

 

The patient Mr Abdul Rahman suffered from breathlessness and felt unconscious after which the army came to his rescue by walking over more than 5 feet of snow to and provided him the medical assistance and an army doctor for his treatment, in heavy snowfall.

 

Further the army jawans had arranged a JCB and a vehicle to reffer the patient from higher reaches to the hospital for further treatment.

 

Meanwhile the timely medical assistance provided by the men in uniform, saved the life of a man and efforts of the soldiers were appreciated by the local villagers.(PTK)
