3 Militants killed, 3 Police personnel , CRPF men Injured In Srinagar Encounter
Srinagar, 31 Dec (PTK): Three Unidentified militants were killed while three police personnel and a CRPF personnel were injured in a brief encounter in Gomander Mohalla Panthachowk area in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district during intervening night of Thursday-Friday .
An official told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that three unidentified militants were killed, three cops and a CRPF trooper were injured in a gunfight between militants and security forces in gomander Panthachowk area of Srinagar city.
He adds that indiscriminate material including Arms and ammunition were recovered from the encounter site while the search operation is going on in the area.
Earlier the Kashmir zone police informed through a tweet that in the initial exchange of fire, 03 Police personnel & 01 CRPF personnel got injured & were subsequently shifted to hospital. (PTK)
