Gunfight breaks out in Kulgam

Kulgam, 29 Dec (PTK): A gunfight breaks out in Mirhama area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday evening.

Official sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir(PTK) that a gunfight breaks out between militants and security forces in mirhama Shopian after a joint team of forces launched cordon and search operation in the area following credible information about the presence of militants.

“Encounter has started at Mirhama area of #Kulgam. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow”, Kashmir police zone tweeted. (PTK)
