DDC Kangan Constructs several Water tanks, other development works in area, wins praise from locals

Ganderbal, 25 Dec (PTK) : The District Development Council of kangan (B) block, Mian Amjid constructs two water tanks and installed three transformers in different areas of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District to mitigate the sufferings of public.

As per the data available with Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) the district development council of Kangan B block Installed two 200 KV transformers at Waniaram Pethkahana, phelanarbwangath and 63 KV transformer at Dachad mood from his own DDC funds.

Adding that he construct two water tanks at poshkar, Phelanar and another water tank is under construction at Wachinkin Wangath area of Ganderbal.

In a candid talk with Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) Correspondent, DDC member Mian Amjid said that rural and far-off areas shall receive focussed attention and assured that besides development of the area he will ensure that the benefits of various schemes meant for the socio-economic upliftment of the poor and needy reach the doorsteps of the people in remote sections of the district.

He adds that electric wires that are strung on wooden posts can present shock possibilities and are vulnerable for common masses, in this regard i appeals to the district administration to provide new concrete electric poles in Kangan Constituency, so that no untoward incident will happen in future.

Meanwhile local people of the area appreciates the work done by DDC Kangan in his tenure. (PTK).
