Two militant associates arrested in Budgam : Police

Budgam, 24 Dec (PTK): Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have arrested two militant associates linked with proscribed militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba from Kralpora Chadoora area in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on friday.

As per the statement issued to Press trust of Kashmir (PTK), a police spokesman said that acting upon specific information, Budgam Police, Army’s 50 RR and 181 CRPF arrested two Lashkar-e-Toiba militant associates from Chadoora area on friday.

The OGW’s were identified as Imran Majeed Son of Abdul Majeed Magray a resident of Murdaan Mohalla Mochua and Aqib Amin Son of Mohd Amin Rather a resident of Magrey Mohalla Mochua and incriminating material of LeT and explosive substance including 02 Hand Grenades, 02 AK-47 Magzines, 30 live AK-47 rounds were recovered from their possession, the statement reads.

During preliminary investigation, it surfaced that both the arrested Militant associates have been in touch with LeT commanders and were involved in providing logistics, shelter and transportation of arms & ammunition in the areas of Mochwa, Kralpora, Chattergam, Sathsoo, Nowgam, Chadoora and other adjacent areas of the district.
