Reyaz Ahmad Malik bags President Post as NHPC Workers Union Bandipora hold elections

Bandipora, December 24(PTK): The workers associated with NHPC on Friday held their annual elections and elected Reyaz Ahmad Malik as President of the Union.

The voting of NHPC workers of North Kashmir’s Bandipora was held at NHPC Office located in Bandipora & whole exercise was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Labour Commissioner Bandipora and Election department Bandipora.

Out of 275 total workers associated with the Union, 238 polled their votes from which Reyaz Ahmad bagged 163 votes while is opponent got 67 votes. Therefore, Reyaz bagged the President Post by the margin of total 96 votes.

People from different walks of life have congratulated Reyaz and have hoped that he will work for the betterment of union as well as workers.:-PTK.
